Content and its actual source

#

Ntfyx uses Hacker News’s official public API to select up to five Show HN posts from the previous 48 hours, ranked by score at collection. This is a snapshot of that community’s submissions, not a Product Hunt leaderboard, an exhaustive launch database or an endorsement. Article bodies are not collected.

Frequency and delivery

#

One daily digest at your chosen local time. New subscriptions receive future editions without importing earlier posts; scheduled collection and delivery may be delayed.

Phone availability

#

Current public phone releases are iPhone 1.6.4 and Android 1.6.4. Technology digest works from 1.2.0 and the expanded catalog needs 1.3 or later. Updated opportunity-source explanations arrive with 1.4; check your installed version. Web browses the public catalog and previews; the primary phone still confirms subscriptions.

Subscribe in a compatible app

#

Use the compatible version listed above, choose this source in Discover on your primary phone, review the sources, schedule and notification preference, then confirm the free subscription. No computer, CLI or scan is needed. The phone creates a private Topic; a browser needs separate authorization for that Topic.

A preview is not a received message.

Slots and stopping delivery

#

Free includes one plugin subscription and one custom Topic. Paused plugin subscriptions still use a slot. Mute receives messages without alerts; pause stops new delivery; unsubscribe releases the subscription slot and preserves received local history. Topic allowances do not add together. Message, request, device, size and storage limits still apply.

Public content and private messages

#

The publisher knows its public content and necessary subscription routing and schedule. This grants no access to private agent messages. Your phone authorizes each Topic and sender, and deliveries are encrypted for authorized recipient devices. Ntfyx is independent of the listed sources.
