Technology digest — Ntfyx notification sources
Follow a daily technology digest in Ntfyx. Public Hacker News headlines and original links, delivered to a private Topic after you subscribe on your phone.
Updated
A daily digest you choose to receive
#Technology digest is a free notification source published by Ntfyx. Each daily message contains up to five English Hacker News headlines, original links and public factual metadata. Ntfyx does not fetch article bodies or generate AI summaries for this source. This service is independent of Hacker News.
Availability
#Notification sources are part of the Ntfyx 1.2.0 update. The App Store and Google Play builds are being prepared and reviewed separately; older public app versions may not have Discover. The current store versions remain listed on the Downloads page. A package upload or review submission is not confirmation of public availability.
Subscribe on your primary phone
#In a compatible Ntfyx app, open Discover, choose Technology digest, review its sources and select Free subscription. Confirm the digest time, time zone and notification preference. No Ntfyx account, computer, CLI or camera scan is required for this subscription. Your personal Inbox is created on your device if needed.
- Open Ntfyx → Discover → Technology digest.
- Choose the digest time and confirm the subscription.
- Open the new Topic in Inbox. Future editions are grouped into dated sessions.
Read on Chrome or the Web
#Subscribe and manage the source on your primary phone. To receive future editions in a browser, authorize that browser for the new Topic using the existing phone pairing flow. Connecting one Topic does not grant access to every other Topic. A new browser does not receive the phone’s earlier history.
Frequency, quota and control
#The trial supports up to three subscribed notification sources per Inbox, separately from the existing Free and Plus personal Topic allowances. Paused subscriptions still occupy a source slot. Mute keeps receiving messages without alerts; pause stops new delivery; unsubscribe revokes the source and preserves already received local history.
Unsubscribing releases the subscription slot. This free notification subscription is not an auto-renewing purchase.
Encryption and public content
#Your phone authorizes a private Topic and an independent sending identity for this subscription. The publisher encrypts deliveries for authorized recipient devices. Ntfyx knows the public material it publishes and the necessary subscription routing metadata. Your private agent conversations are not used to generate these digests.
The browser cannot hold the phone management key or subscribe on your behalf.
Content problems or stopping delivery
#Use Manage subscription to pause or unsubscribe. Report a content issue or block its publisher from the app, or contact support. Disabling system notifications does not unsubscribe. Already dispatched system notifications may arrive after you unsubscribe; stopping future delivery does not recall content already received.
