Same protection on both plans
One primary iPhone and two browsers; 20 sources per Topic and 100 per Inbox; 50 total Topic records. Each Inbox allows 1,000 ordinary events and 200 requests per UTC day, 50 pending requests, and 25 MiB of encrypted storage (21 MiB ordinary plus 4 MiB reserved for requests and answers). Payloads are limited to 16 KiB; reply text to 4 KiB; Deny notes to 2 KiB.
Fair use and retention
New events are limited to 30 per minute with a burst of 10 per Source, and 120 per minute per Inbox. Read APIs allow 120 per minute per principal, at most 100 events per page. Control writes allow 60 per minute per principal and 300 per minute per Inbox. Pairing creates at most 10 sessions per ten minutes per IP, with additional device protections. Ordinary relay ciphertext lasts at most seven days. Pending requests last to their deadline; terminal requests and answers remain for seven days. Replies and cancellations for accepted requests use reserved capacity and do not consume the new-message budget.
Purchase, restore, or downgrade
Apple handles payment and applicable refunds. Monthly subscriptions renew unless cancelled through Apple. Buying lifetime does not automatically cancel an existing monthly subscription; manage that subscription in Apple settings. Any valid lifetime or monthly entitlement keeps Plus active. A downgrade pauses excess Topics without reactivating Topics you manually paused. Existing valid requests can still be answered. Restoring purchases restores your plan, never your encryption keys.
