When to use it
You leave a coding task running and go for a walk. Claude Code reaches a choice that needs you. With Ntfyx connected, it can send the question to your phone. Answer under that question; the waiting task receives your verified answer and follows the selected path. Later updates can stay in the same conversation.

Open Ntfyx and allow notifications if you want system alerts.
Connect Claude Code
Follow the agent setup guide on your computer, scan to authorize the connection, then restart Claude Code.

Ask Claude Code to send a harmless choice through Ntfyx. Answer on the phone and check the returned choice in the original task.

Use explicit Ntfyx MCP/CLI questions or the supported Claude Code AskUserQuestion bridge. Tool permission approvals have separate host and platform requirements. Codex can use Ntfyx MCP questions, but its native request_user_input prompts are not automatically forwarded. Denial, expiry or an unverified answer does not let work continue, and a late answer cannot restart an ended task. Agent messages and replies are encrypted on the devices.
