Tool connections HTTPS · Webhook
Send a notification over HTTPS
Connect a script or webhook with your private sending URL. No CLI required.
Follow the HTTPS setup guideUpdated
When to use it
A tool you use already supports a webhook, or your script can make an HTTPS request. Copy the sending link from Ntfyx and use it in that tool. GET sends the message in the link; POST sends fresh text or JSON to the same fixed URL.
Connect in three steps
Prepare HTTPS Push
Open HTTPS Push on your phone and use the in-app Send test to check the connection.
Copy your private URL
Keep the full URL in your script’s private configuration or the service’s webhook settings.
Send and check your Inbox
Open the link to send its message, or POST text/JSON to it. Confirm the matching message on the phone.
Start here
First, get Ntfyx on your phone
On a computer? Click a store to scan its QR code with your phone.
Check that it works
Set NTFYX_SEND_URL locally to the private link copied from your app, then run either example. These examples are for macOS/Linux shells. An accepted response means the service accepted the request; confirm the matching Inbox message and, separately, any system alert.
# GET: send the message already in your copied URL
curl --fail-with-body "$NTFYX_SEND_URL"
# POST: keep the URL fixed and send new text
curl --fail-with-body "$NTFYX_SEND_URL" \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
--data '{"text":"Build complete"}'What to know
The full URL contains a send-only secret: keep it out of public logs and screenshots. HTTPS/Webhook content is processed by the service before encrypted delivery. This path sends notifications only; use the agent case for questions and replies. Each request without an idempotency key can create a new message. For uncertain retries, follow the guide’s Idempotency-Key instructions.
